This article provides information on the views of the medieval Eastern scholars Mahmud Kashgari, Abū Naṣr Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al Fārābī , Abu Ali ibn Sina, Ali ibn Abu Bakr, Najm ad-Dīn Kubrà Ahmad ibn Umar ibn Muhammad Khivaqi on education and the spiritual maturity of the individual.
