Modern Strategies And Innovative Technologies In Teaching English Vocabulary

The article deals with the issues based on implementation of modern strategies and innovative
technologies in teaching vocabulary in English classes. The development of lexical skills for their
subsequent inclusion in students' speech activity is the main task in mastering vocabulary. The use of
computer technology in the formation of lexical skills significantly enhances the effectiveness of this
process. Vocabulary in the system of linguistic means is the most important component of speech
activity: listening and speaking, reading and writing.
