This article delves into the sustainable textile potential of banana fibre, shedding light on its unique properties and applications. The study investigates the environmental and economic benefits of banana fibre as an alternative to conventional textiles. By examining the production process, material characteristics, and potential uses of banana fibre, this research highlights its contribution to sustainable fashion and textile industries. The results demonstrate the viability of banana fibre as a renewable and eco-friendly material, paving the way for its wider adoption in the textile sector. The findings of this study contribute to the growing body of knowledge on sustainable textiles, offering insights into the potential of banana fibre in promoting a more environmentally conscious and socially responsible textile industry.

This study aims to compare the floristic diversity between a buffer zone community forest and a community forest in the Barandabhar Corridor of Chitwan, Nepal. Floristic diversity is an essential aspect of forest ecosystems as it reflects the richness and composition of plant species. The study utilized systematic sampling methods to assess the species composition, abundance, and diversity in both forests. A total of [number] plots were established in each forest, and data on tree, shrub, and herbaceous species were collected. The results showed significant differences in species richness, evenness, and diversity between the buffer zone community forest and the community forest in the Barandabhar Corridor. The buffer zone community forest exhibited higher species richness and diversity compared to the community forest. Additionally, certain indicator species were found to be unique to each forest, highlighting the importance of both forests in terms of conserving specific plant species. The findings of this study provide valuable insights into the floristic diversity of these forests and emphasize the need for appropriate management strategies to ensure the conservation and sustainable use of plant resources in the Barandabhar Corridor, Chitwan, Nepal.

This study examines the effect of pre-harvest treatments and storage conditions on apple quality in India. The quality of apples is a crucial factor in ensuring consumer satisfaction and market competitiveness. Pre-harvest treatments, including pruning and foliar sprays, can influence attributes such as color, texture, and nutritional content. Additionally, storage conditions play a significant role in maintaining apple quality during post-harvest storage. This research aims to investigate the impact of pre-harvest treatments and different storage conditions, including controlled atmosphere storage, conventional cold storage, and ambient storage, on apple quality in India. The findings of this study will contribute to improving post-harvest practices, enhancing the market value of Indian apple varieties, and ensuring consumer satisfaction.

This comprehensive analysis explores the social and economic dimensions associated with Strelitzia cultivation, trade, and consumption. The study investigates market demand, economic impact, cultural and symbolic value, social perceptions, and community impact related to Strelitzia. Through a combination of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, including literature review, data collection, and analysis, the findings shed light on the significant role Strelitzia plays in generating employment, income, and overall economic growth. Additionally, the study reveals the cultural significance of Strelitzia and its positive social perceptions. The results contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the broader implications and value associated with Strelitzia in the context of the floriculture industry.
