Environmental Problems In Tourist Areas And Their Solutions
Musayeva Fazilat Sharifovna , Researcher, UzbekistanAbstract
Tourism is one of the fastest-growing sectors of the global economy and plays a significant role in the social and economic development of many countries. However, the rapid growth of tourism has also created serious environmental challenges in tourist regions. Excessive waste generation, air and water pollution, destruction of natural landscapes, overconsumption of resources, and biodiversity loss are among the major ecological issues observed in tourist destinations. This article examines the main environmental problems in tourist areas and proposes sustainable solutions for minimizing their negative impacts. The study emphasizes the importance of eco-tourism, environmental education, waste management systems, renewable energy use, and government regulations in achieving sustainable tourism development. The findings indicate that balancing tourism growth with environmental protection is essential for preserving natural and cultural resources for future generations.
