DOI: Fact-Checking Technologies Against Fake News and Disinformation: International Practices and Their Application in Uzbekistan's Online Media
Abstract
The article proposes a five-layer model of fact-checking and digital verification for Uzbekistan's online media. The model positions fact-checking as a continuous newsroom function that combines monitoring, open-source investigation, deepfake verification, transparent publication and preventive media literacy.
