Plagiarism Policy

The USA Journals

The USA Journals maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are rigorously checked to ensure originality, academic integrity, and ethical research practices.

Definition of Plagiarism:

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copying text, ideas, images, data, or results from published or unpublished work without proper acknowledgment or citation.

  • Paraphrasing substantial portions of text or ideas from other sources without appropriate citation.

  • Presenting someone else’s research or results as one’s own.

Detection and Prevention:

  • All submitted manuscripts undergo comprehensive plagiarism screening using industry-standard software tools (such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar platforms).

  • Manuscripts exceeding an acceptable similarity threshold (typically above 20%) are flagged for editorial scrutiny.

Handling Plagiarism:

If plagiarism is detected during the peer review or editorial stages:

  • The manuscript will be immediately rejected.

  • Authors will be notified clearly about the reasons for rejection and provided with evidence of plagiarism.

If plagiarism is discovered post-publication:

  • The published article will be retracted from the journal.

  • Retraction notices clearly indicating the reason for withdrawal will be published online.

  • Relevant authorities or institutions affiliated with the authors may be informed, as appropriate.

Authors’ Responsibilities:

  • Authors must ensure their manuscripts are original, properly cited, and ethically sound.

  • Authors must use quotation marks and citations for direct quotes and properly cite all paraphrased or summarized materials.

Editors’ Responsibilities:

  • Editors rigorously check all manuscripts for plagiarism prior to acceptance.

  • Editors will handle suspected plagiarism cases promptly and transparently.

Reviewers’ Responsibilities:

  • Reviewers should promptly alert editors if they suspect plagiarism or duplication of previously published work.

The USA Journals is fully committed to maintaining academic integrity and scholarly excellence by preventing plagiarism and enforcing strict ethical publishing standards.
