Copyright Policy
The American Journal of Interdisciplinary Innovations and Research
1. Author Copyright
Authors retain copyright in their articles published in The American Journal of Interdisciplinary Innovations and Research (TAJIIR). Publication does not require the transfer of copyright ownership to the journal.
Authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and identify the article as originally published in TAJIIR.
2. Publication License
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) unless an article carries a different, clearly stated license.
CC BY 4.0 permits anyone to read, download, copy, share, redistribute, and adapt the work in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, subject to the license conditions.
Users must:
-
Give appropriate credit to the authors and acknowledge the source.
-
Provide a link to the license.
-
Indicate whether changes have been made.
-
Avoid suggesting that the authors or journal endorse the reuse.
-
Refrain from imposing additional restrictions that prevent others from exercising the rights granted by the license.

3. Author Reuse and Self-Archiving
Authors may reuse their work in subsequent publications, teaching materials, presentations, books, and other scholarly activities, subject to any applicable third-party rights.
Authors may deposit the submitted manuscript, accepted manuscript, and published version in institutional or subject repositories and share them on personal or institutional websites without an embargo.
Accepted and published versions should acknowledge the original journal publication and include the DOI or article link when available. Earlier manuscript versions should be clearly identified.
4. Third-Party Material
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted content where permission is required. This includes figures, tables, photographs, illustrations, questionnaires, and substantial text extracts.
Permissions must cover the intended publication and reuse terms. Authors should provide appropriate credit lines and clearly identify material excluded from the article’s Creative Commons license.
Users wishing to reuse excluded material must seek permission from the relevant rights holder where required. Publication in an open-access article does not override third-party rights.
5. Author Responsibilities
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that they have the right to authorize its publication and that the manuscript does not infringe another party’s copyright.
Authors must accurately acknowledge sources, disclose substantial reuse of previously published material, and provide relevant permissions when requested. All co-authors must approve the submission and publication terms.
6. Attribution of Published Articles
When reproducing or adapting an article, users should provide sufficient information to identify the original work, including the authors, article title, journal title, year, and DOI or article URL.
A suitable attribution is:
“Author(s), ‘Article Title,’ The American Journal of Interdisciplinary Innovations and Research, Year, DOI or URL. Licensed under CC BY 4.0.”
For adapted material, also indicate the changes made.
7. Copyright Concerns
Suspected copyright infringement should be reported to the editorial office with details of the affected material, the original source, and evidence of ownership or authorization to act for the rights holder.
The journal will assess the concern, seek clarification from the parties involved, and take appropriate action where warranted. Action may include correcting a credit line, replacing or removing infringing material, or issuing a publication notice.
8. Other Rights
The article license does not automatically grant permission to use journal logos, trademarks, or other branding. Privacy, publicity, patent, and other rights may also affect particular uses of published content.
Users should review the license notice and any third-party credit lines accompanying the material they intend to reuse.
